The MRS 2026 International Risk Conference was successfully held in Honolulu, Hawaii from 17 to 19 July 2026. Assistant Professor Zhuo Jiayi from the School of Business (MSB) at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) was invited to attend the conference as the corresponding author and presented her research paper, titled “When going green meets going into debt: A continuous time model of ESG investment and debt financing”.
Hosted by the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai‘i, this year’s conference invited scholars worldwide to submit cutting-edge research in risk and capital markets. Centered on the theme “AI, Uncertainty, and Investor Protection”, the conference aimed to advance global research on financial risk management, with a specific focus on modern risk dynamics. During the event, Assistant Professor Zhuo actively connected with fellow scholars in finance, engaged in deep discussions on emerging research trends, and gained valuable feedback and insights on her research from industry experts.

The participation of MUST faculty member at this conference highlights the vibrant influence of the MUST MSB within the global academic community. Furthermore, it strengthens the University’s ties with international academic networks and marks an important milestone in advancing the internationalization of its scientific research.
