Unlike traditional learning methods, the CGMA-FLP program focuses on case studies and attaches importance to developing students’ accounting technical skills, strategic thinking, leadership, and digital awareness. With the innovative online learning platform, students can customize their learning tempo and finish the majority of modules and assessments online. After completing all modules and assessment exams, students are entitled Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. The successful accreditation means that BBA- accounting students enjoy in total 8 exemptions: 4 exemptions at the Certificate level and 4 exceptions at the Operational level.
On the afternoon of April 23, 2024, Mr. Paulus Chau, Director of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA & CIMA) Hong Kong and Emerging Markets, awarded the partnership and accreditation certificate for CGMA ® Finance Leadership Program to Professor Sheng Ni, Dean of School of Business. MUST is the first higher education institute in Macau to sign a partnership agreement and obtain accreditation for the CGMA® Finance Leadership Program with CIMA. This achievement marks another milestone for the accounting major of M.U.S.T., following the accreditation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and CPA Australia. It signifies an elevation in the quality of the accounting major and the School of Business, demonstrating our continued commitment to excellence.
