Following the opening speeches came the exciting certificate awarding ceremony. In the presence of witness of 170 attendees, Mr. Paulus Chau awarded the certificate of partnership to Dean Sheng Ni. The Macua University of Science and Technology is the first higher education institute in Macau to complete the accreditation under the CGMA Finance Leadership Program (CGMA-FLP). In sharp contrast to traditional learning methods, the CGMA-FLP program provides an online self-study mode, allowing students to customize their learning tempo and finish most of the learning and assessments online. The successful CIMA-CGMA accreditation grants undergraduate accounting students at the Macau University of Science and Technology exemptions from eight exams. Following the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and CPA Australia, the CIMA accredidation adds to the prestige of accounting department and signifies the continuous enhancement of the quality and reputation of the School of Business and the Macau University of Science and Technology.
