Co-hosted by the CCPIT Commercial Sub-council and the CCOIC Commercial Chamber, and co-organised by City University of Hong Kong, the “2026 Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao Digital Economy Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition” concluded successfully on 11 April 2026 at City University of Hong Kong. The “Champion” team representing the School of Business (MSB) at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) stood out in the competition with their exceptional innovation project and outstanding on-site performance, ultimately winning the Silver Award. The achievement fully demonstrates the innovative capability and entrepreneurial literacy of MSB students in frontier fields such as the new economy and high-tech industries.

The competition brought together multiple elite teams from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau to compete around digital economy frontiers and innovative technology applications. The participating team from MUST MSB consisted of Fan Haochen and Zhang Hengyuan, third-year Supply Chain Management students; Zhang Yubo, a third-year Finance student; and Tang Yucong, a third-year Business Analytics student. Under the guidance of Assistant Professor Li Chunsheng and Assistant Professor Chen Yue, the team leveraged deep insights into the digital economy sector, clear and logical business concepts, rigorous analytical abilities, and efficient teamwork, ultimately stood out in the competition and won the Silver Award.

This outstanding achievement not only highlights the comprehensive ability of MUST students to integrate academic theories with real-world practical applications, but also marks another remarkable accomplishment of MSB in integrating higher education with digital economy development and intelligent innovation. MUST MSB has always attached great importance to the integration of discipline competitions and talent cultivation, while consistently encourages students to participate in high-level academic contests. Moving forward, MSB will continue to promote learning through competitions and nurture excellent business talents with global vision, innovative thinking and interdisciplinary practical capabilities.
