On 23rd February 2026, the Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) program at the School of Business (MSB) of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) has successfully achieved the reaccreditation by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), renewing its accreditation for another five years, valid from 1st January 2027 to 31st December 2031. For the next five years, MSA students will continue to benefit from the highest level of exemption, waiving all nine fundamental-level papers and proceeding directly to the ACCA Professional Level examinations. This significantly enhances students’ professional competitiveness, laying a solid foundation for their entry into the international accounting arena and long-term career advancement.
The Bachelor of Business Administration program (Accounting major) at MSB was reaccredited by ACCA earlier in 2025 (with the reaccreditation period from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2030). The dual accreditation of the bachelor and master’s accounting programs by ACCA symbolizes a high recognition of MSB’s curriculum design and teaching quality, whilst further enhances the competitiveness and professional advantages of the graduates in the job market worldwide.
As a globally professional accountancy body, ACCA has expanded its global network to 117 offices and centers, supporting 241,000 members and 542,000 student members worldwide. This successful renewal further demonstrates the international standards and educational quality of MSB MSA program, reinforcing its global development.
