On 10 September 2025, Ms. Cally Kuan, President of the Board of Directors from the Union of Associations of Professional Accountants of Macau (UAPAM), led a delegation to visit the School of Business (MSB) of MUST. The delegation was welcome by Professor Lin Yong Jia, Head of Department of Accounting and Finance; Associate Professor Lyu Chan, Assistant Professor Zhang Ruopiao and Assistant Professor Chen Can. Both parties exchanged ideas on deepening cooperation and jointly promoting the cultivation of accounting professionals and the development of the industry in Macau.
Led by Ms. Cally Kuan, President of the Board of Directors, the delegation members included Mr. Oscar Lam, Mr. Alan Cheng, and Ms. Miranda Lou, Vice Presidents of UAPAM. During the meeting, UAPAM presented an overview of its talent development initiatives and long-term plans in Macau, and shared the key highlights of the “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Higher Education Institutes Accounting and Business Knowledge Competition”. Besides, the delegation sought valuable insights from MSB regarding its ongoing research into a professional examination system for accountants in Macau.

This visit has laid a strong foundation for future collaboration between UAPAM and MUST MSB. Both parties affirmed their commitment to building a closer partnership to contribute to the sustainable development of Macau’s accounting industry.
