The 2018 Deloitte Tax Championship completed successfully on November 11 in Hong Kong. The team formed by students from School of Business at MUST, lead and supervised by Dr. Sun Hongyan, stood out of 71 invited top universities in the Greater China Region and entered the final contest which only includes 13 university teams. Finally, MUST team formed by Zhang Shuai, Gong Li, Zou Xiaoning and Zhao Yifan won the Outstanding Team Award. The excellent performance of our students fully demonstrated the spirits and abilities of teamwork and competitive advantages in professional area.
Deloitte Tax Championship is an international competition organized by Shanghai Deloitte Tax Ltd. and Deloitte Tax Research Foundation for university students across Greater China region. It aims at promoting collaborations among government agencies, academics, professional services providers, and taxpayers, and developing professionals with the "3i" attributes – providing insightful solutions, adopting an integrated approach and offering innovative ideas. Launched in 2004, the competition has attracted more than 3,000 elite students from many top universities across Greater China in the past years. The awarded students can obtain the Deloitte recruitment incentive and Deloitte internship opportunity.
