Ernst and Young (“EY”), one of the international "Big Four" public accounting firms, came to School of Business at MUST to hold a 2018-19 campus recruitment talk on October 13, 2018. Five EY senior partners led by Mr. Andy Cheung, Asia Pacific Deputy Managing Partner came to the event. The responses were enormous with around 300 students attending the recruitment talk.

During the recruitment talk, the EY Partners from China, Hong Kong and Macau offices introduced the salient features of EY, its working culture and its future development with technology used in Auditing. EY partners also shared their professional experience at EY followed by the EY talent team explaining about the recruitment procedures to our students. Two MSB Alumni came back and shared their EY experience with the students. After the recruitment talk, students were so eager to learn more about EY and stayed behind to have direct dialogs with EY partners and their talent recruitment team professionals.

EY has granted MUST as a Talent Training Base of EY in recognition of our Excellence in Talent Development and the award was presented to Professor Lin, University Vice President and Dean of the Business School by Mr. Andy Cheung, during the recruitment talk.  Professor Lin said it is a great honour to receive the award as a recognition of MUST’s achievement in tertiary education and also expressed his sincerely gratitude for the EY’s continuing support to our School.

EY hired eleven of MSB 2018 graduates this year in the students’ preferred locations ranging from Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. EY also provided internship opportunities to 10 of our students this summer. In the 2018-19 recruitment, EY target to recruit our students at their preferred locations in China and Macau.
