MUST School of Business students achieved remarkable result at CILTHK Student Day

Organized by Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) and co-organized by The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), the “CILTHK Student Day 2026” was held on 14 March 2026 at HSUHK. Being the only representative from outside Hong Kong, students of School of Business (MSB) at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) successfully won the third place, demonstrating MSB students’ decision-analysis ability and team spirit.

This year’s competition focused on the theme of developing a smart, sustainable, and high-tech supply chain industry in Hong Kong, with strong emphasis on AI-driven innovations, automation, robotics, and related technologies transforming logistics; and brought together teams from eight prestigious universities across Hong Kong and Macau, including Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, HSUHK, etc. MUST is the sole representative from outside Hong Kong, members included Li Minzhen, a third-year Supply Chain Management student in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program; Lei Qianru, Lin Jiahui, Liu Jialin and Liu Xuanchi, third-year Business Analytics students in the BBA program; under the supervision of Assistant Professor Rachael Ip, Assistant Professor Howard Che and Assistant Professor Allen Chen. With the team’s outstanding case analysis capabilities, particularly their insights in applying AI-driven solutions, as well as the strong teamwork, the team stood out and won the third place.

The Student Day was first held in 1997, with the mission of gaining students’ deeper understanding on the development of the transportation and logistics industry in Hong Kong, Macau, and internationally through academic exchanges. MUST MSB has achieved numerous notable achievements since the first participation in 2008, showcasing MUST’s outstanding capabilities in cutting-edge fields such as AI-driven logistics and sustainable supply chain management.
