The School of Business (MSB) at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) has consistently supported students to participate in various academic and technical competitions, aiming to provide practical application platforms that foster independent thinking and innovative abilities. On 10 July 2025, Mei Duoduo, a MSB student majoring in Supply Chain Management program, participated in the “2025 Cross-Strait and Hong Kong-Macao Youth Skills Invitational Competition” in Shanghai, and won the gold award in the “Logistics and Freight Forwarding” category.

This invitational competition was hosted by the 2025 Cross-Strait and Hong Kong-Macao Youth Skills Invitational Competition Organizing Committee, and organized by Shanghai Polytechnic University. Multiple events were held at Shanghai Polytechnic University from 7 to 10 July 2025. Aiming at “Promote learning through competition, foster friendships through competition”, the competition enhanced communications and skills improvement of young talents from cross-strait, Hong Kong and Macao. It also serves as a platform to showcase young students’ skills and creativity in response to the upcoming “48th WorldSkills Competition” to be held in Shanghai in 2026, under the theme “Skills for Success and Craftsmanship for Dreams”.
Approximately 90 youth participants took part in the event, competing in categories including robot system integration, CAD mechanical design, web technology, logistics and freight forwarding, beauty, and hairdressing. The competition was conducted according to world-class standards, enhancing its overall impact and demonstration effect. With each region’s unique characteristics of the vocational education system, participants were able to gain mutual learning and evaluation during the event. In the “Logistics and Freight Forwarding” category, Mei Duoduo showcased exceptional on-site presentations and excellent performance in answering questions. She ultimately won the gold award while also demonstrated her professional capability and strength in the field. In addition, MUST was highly recognized for its organizational efforts and was awarded the Excellent Organization Award, further reflecting the University’s commitment to talent cultivation and the promotion of youth skill development.
