MUST School of Business students won the national second prize at the 3rd China Postgraduate Enterprise Management Innovation Competition

Guided by the Department of Degree Management & Postgraduate Education, Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China; jointly hosted by Association of Chinese Graduate Education, the Children and Youth Science Center of CAST, and the China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee, the national finals of the “3rd China Postgraduate Enterprise Management Innovation Competition” was held in Guiyang during 7 – 9 November 2025. Postgraduate students from the School of Business (MSB) at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) stood out in the competition, winning the national second prize in the enterprise decision-making track, making them the only team from Macau to advance to the national finals.

This year, a total of 2,514 teams participated in the enterprise decision-making track, with 245 teams passing the preliminary round to reach the national finals. The team “Don’t Cry, You Will Always Be My Sunshine” which consisted of Li Zaixin, Li Jianhui, and Xu Jiayi, first-year Master of Science in Finance, advanced to the finals after multiple rounds of selection under the guidance of Professor Tang Huajun and Associate Professor Zhao Honghao. The extensive knowledge and calm business decision-making skills enabled them to ultimately earn the national second prize in the enterprise decision-making track.

The “China Postgraduate Enterprise Management Innovation Competition” aligns with national development strategies and reforms in postgraduate education training mechanisms. It emphasizes practical innovation and integrated innovation, aiming to enhance postgraduates’ competencies and management innovation abilities in the digital era, thereby contributing to the reform of talent training models in management education and empowering the cultivation of high-level applied management talents suited for the digital age.
