2025/2026 School of Business Advisory Board meeting was successfully held

School of Business (MSB) Advisory Board meeting for the 2025/2026 academic year was successfully held on 28 January 2026 (Wednesday) morning in Meeting Room A501 at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). The meeting successfully completed the transition and the ceremony for the appointment of new members. Mr. Kevin Ho King Lun, Deputy from Macao SAR to the 13th & 14th National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China, as well as the President of The Industry and Commerce Association of Macau and the Director of Tai Fung Bank Limited, will continue to serve as the Chairman of the School of Business Advisory Board.

The newly elected committee members (listed in order of the number of strokes of Chinese surname) include: Mr. Raymond Bao, Practising CPA, BAO KING TO, Certified Public Accountant; Mr. Chu Tan Neng, Executive Director of Macau International Airport Company Limited; Mr. Lee Koi Ian, President of Macau Youth Entrepreneur Association; Mr. Sam Tou, Executive Director of Banco Nacional Ultramarino; Mr. Shen Cheng, Director & General Manager of China Construction Engineering (Macau) Company Limited, and Vice President of The Association Of Chinese Enterprises In Macao; Mr. Carlos Lam, Director of New City Investment and Construction Co. Ltd.; Mr. Chen Wu, Director of China Telecom (Macau) Company Limited; Mr. Chan Weng Tat, Deputy Chief Executive of Bank of China (Macau) Limited; Dr. Toa Charm, Founding Chairman of Data & AI Literacy Association and Associate Professor of CUHK Business School; Mr. Jack Chang Chak-Io, Vice Chairman, Executive Board of Macau Economic Association; Doctor Maurice WF Ngai, the Past President of The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute; Mr. Kwan Yany Yan-Chi, Vice President of Macau Development Strategy Research Centre.

Professor Sheng Ni, Dean of MSB, introduced the School Management Team to Chairman and board members, and briefly reported on the work of MSB over the past year, including faculty and student status, curriculum review and planning, etc. The Management Team presented the progress in research, teaching, and international accreditation, as well as information on student internships, graduate further education and employment surveys, and employer satisfaction surveys. Chairman and the board members affirmed the progress made by MSB over the past year and offered forward-looking suggestions regarding various initiatives and the School’s development planning.

At the end of the meeting, Dean Sheng expressed sincere gratitude to Chairman and all attending board members for their long-term support and valuable suggestions.
