On November 12, 2022, under the guidance of Professor Ma Chao, eight students from the School of Business participated in the 14th National University Tertiary Student Mathematics Competition "Guangdong Division" and the 12th Guangdong Province College Students Mathematics Contest. The mathematics competition aims to stimulate college students' interest in learning mathematics, cultivate their problem-solving skills, and improve mathematics courses teaching and learning among universities. This year's mathematics competition is jointly organized by Guangdong University of Technology and Guangdong Mathematical Society. On December 13, 2022, the results of the competition were announced. Mr. Hu Kehan, majoring in Applied Economics, won the second prize in the 12th Guangdong Province College Students Mathematics Contest (Economics and Management). Participants in the contest not only strengthened the basic knowledge of mathematics, but also improved their ability to solve problems and accumulated valuable competition experience.
