Creative Background:

The inspiration for "Macao's Fishing Rhapsody" originates from their understanding of the unique history and culture of the fishing industry in Macao. As a small island where East meets West, Macao harbors a rich historical heritage and a distinctive geographic landscape. As students experience their first year here, they are filled with a profound curiosity and eagerness to explore, along with many fresh experiences. Therefore, they decided to showcase Macao's unique fishing village culture and historical relics through a short film format.

Creative Concept:

The short film aims to display the rich fishing culture of Macao. To comprehensively present the diverse facets of Macao, they have selected three representative landmarks: the Inner Harbor Pier, A-Ma Temple, and the Guia Lighthouse. The Inner Harbor Pier is the heart of fishing culture, the A-Ma Temple reflects Macao's religious traditions, and the Guia Lighthouse symbolizes Macao's maritime history.

As chose to convey the message through a five-minute short film, focusing on the fusion of visual and auditory effects. Through melodious music, vivid imagery, and rhythmic narration, they guide viewers through Macao's unique spots, creating an emotionally charged and storied atmosphere.

They strive to showcase Macao's distinct cultural context and convey the depth of Macao's culture. While promoting Macao's unique sites, their short film also hopes to encourage the new generation of young people in Macao to pay attention to and protect the fishing culture.
