The 2024 Deloitte Tax Championship completed successfully on Dec 8 in Beijing. The team formed by students from the School of Business at MUST, leaded and supervised by Dr. Sun Hongyan, stood out of 93 invited top universities in the Greater China Region and entered the final contest which only included 13 universities. Finally, MUST team formed by Yao Jingbin, Jia Jinglan, Han Yike and Xu Xinyi won the Merit Team Award. The excellent performance of our students fully demonstrated the spirits and abilities of teamwork and competitive advantages in professional area.
Deloitte Tax Championship is an international competition organized by Shanghai Deloitte Tax Ltd. and Deloitte Tax Research Foundation for university students across the Greater China region. It aims at promoting collaborations among government agencies, academics, professional services providers, and taxpayers, and developing professionals with the "3i" attributes – providing insightful solutions, adopting an integrated approach, and offering innovative ideas. Launched in 2004, the competition has attracted more than 3,000 elite students from many top universities across Greater China in the past years. The awarded students can obtain the Deloitte recruitment incentive and Deloitte internship opportunity.
