Dean Pang Jinyou from the School of Political Science and Public Administration at China University of Political Science and Law visited the School of Business

On the morning of June 5th,2024, Dean Pang Jinyou led a delegation of 5 members from the School of Political Science and Public Administration at China University of Political Science and Law to visit the School of Business (MSB) at Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.). The delegation was received by Dean Sheng Ni, Senior Advisory for President Prof. Lin Zhijun from the Academic Accreditation Office, Assistant Dean Prof. Tang Huajun from the MSB, the Head of Department of Management Prof. Chang Po Chien, Assistant Prof. Liu Weihua and Assistant Prof. Zhang Qianjin from MSB, and Assistant Prof. Mou Xiaobo from the Faculty of Law. The two parties engaged in in-depth discussions on curriculum development, academic staff exchange, research collaboration, and joint talent cultivation, aiming further to enhance the exchange and cooperation between both schools.

Dean Sheng Ni warmly welcomed Dean Pang Jinyou and his delegation. Dean Sheng introduced the overall development of the MSB in recent years, curriculum construction, and degree program settings, particularly in the field of public administration management during the meeting. Regarding the international accreditation, Dean Sheng mentioned that MSB successfully earned the international accreditation of The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in July of last year, which marked a significant milestone in the development of the MSB, and expressed the hope that both parties could leverage respective strengths to cultivating more outstanding talents. On top of that, Dean Pang introduced the academic structure, faculty development, and curriculum settings of the School of Political Science and Public Administration, and expressed his hope for the two schools to continue making an effort to contribute and connect in a collaborative environment. Both schools conducted in-depth discussions on teacher visits, student exchanges, scientific research cooperation, data governance, and other aspects.

Apart from the meeting, both schools exchanged commemorative gifts and took a group photo as a token of appreciation and goodwill to express their anticipation for further academic research and exchanges between the schools and students. The delegation led by Dean Pang visited the MSB included Associate Prof. He Tao, Deputy Head of the Department of Political Science, Associate Prof. Gao Hong, Deputy Head of the Department of Public Administration, Associate Prof. Ren Tuo, Deputy Head of the Department of Public Utility Management, and Lecturer Han Xiao, Deputy Head of the Department of International Politics, all from the School of Political Science and Public Administration as well.
