Notably, team member Su Bifei excelled in the presentation segment, earning the sole ‘The Best Business Leader Award’ of the competition. Through this event, the team showcased their profound business knowledge and exceptional collaboration skills, further highlighting our university's robust capabilities in international business arenas.
The CGMA Global Business Challenge, organized by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA & CIMA), targets undergraduate students worldwide. This prestigious competition aims to identify and nurture exceptional business qualities in university students, integrating learned knowledge to enhance workplace competitiveness and discover future business leaders capable of shaping societal development. Since its inception in 2008, the competition has attracted nearly 10,000 participants annually from nearly 100 universities in China and North Asia. Adhering to the objective of "searching for future business leaders," the competition selects outstanding student teams proficient in finance, accounting, market analysis, marketing, management, and more.
GBC gathers remarkable students from Hong Kong, Japan, Macau, Mongolia, Korea, and Taiwan. Participants must register in teams of four and submit specific case analyses within a stipulated time. The competition simulates practical scenarios from the CGMA professional qualification exams, emphasizing the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical application to provide an immersive interactive experience. This setting allows contestants to fully utilize, produce, and innovate. Teams are required to complete and submit an analysis of assigned cases within a given timeframe, focusing on the flexible use of business knowledge to solve real-world issues, thereby fully demonstrating the combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application.
