China Health Policy and Management Society (CHPAMS) recently issued the "2021 Outstanding Volunteer" award. Chen Yijun, a graduate of Charity and Philanthropy Management (Master program) at Macau Business School, was granted the award for her excellent research volunteer activities in the Society. In 2020, while still studying at M.U.S.T., Yijun began to participate the Society’s activities under the supervision of her academic advisor at MUST, Associate Professor Jinghua Zhang. Yijun’s academic passion and excellent performance eventually won the recognition of the Society. Currently Yijun is studying in a Ph.D. program of Public Administration at the University of Macau.

China Health Policy and Management Society (CHPAMS) is a global community of international health researchers, aiming at the health improvement in China and its Asian neighbors through advancing medical, nursing, and public health research and education. The Society brings together top Chinese researchers and has been funded by China Medical Board (USA).

The Award of this year was granted to two other students too, who are overseas Chinese students studying in medical schools or health policy management programs in well-known universities in the United States and the Netherlands.
