MUST Students Won the Second Prize of the "Zhengda Cup 10th National College Student Market Survey and Analysis Competition"

MUST students won the second prize at the "Zhengda Cup 10th National College Student Market Survey and Analysis Competition". It was sponsored by the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Statistics Professional Teaching Committee, the Commerce Statistical Society of China, and co-organized by Guangxi University of Finance and Economics. 76,635 students from 496 universities participated in this competition. After 9 months of selection since September 2019, 247 teams were selected to submit the national final report and video review, and only 26 teams were selected to participate in the final online defense.

The paper titled "Analysis of Financial Risk Transmission among Manufacturing Industries during Major Public Emergency" won the second prize. The team is teamed up by master students of Finance Major, Liu Huicong, Yang Shuhan and Hu Yihao, and coached Associate Prof. Lin Yongjia of MSB. The students said that the competition not only enhanced the abilities of related majors and teamwork, but also benefited the future study and life.

The National College Student Market Survey and Analysis Competition has been listed in the 2014-2019 University Subject Competition Ranking List, and it is a first-class national competition in China. Through this competition, it can not only improve the students' professional ability in organization, strategy, data processing, analysis, etc., but also let the students realize the importance of teamwork.
