MUST Students Won the First Prize and Second Prize at National Entrepreneurship Contest

The 8th China National College Student “Innovation, Originality and Entrepreneurship” Challenge, organized by the Ministry of Education, China and co-organized by Taiyuan University of Technology, was held in Taiyuan from 27th to 29th July, 2018. The 180-plus teams won out among 40,000 competitors from 1,200 universities nationwide attended the final competition, including teams from Hong Kong and Macau SAR.

MUST student team of “MUSTMIER” won the National First Prize, and the team members are Jiang Qi’er, Pan Yingqi, Zhou Bin and Jin Peng. Another MUST team of “Pioneer” won the National Second Prize, and the team members are Lang Yuqing, Wong Sao In, Mou Yidi and Huang Xuanyu. The two teams are supervised by Dr. Tang Huajun and Dr. Yue Lin at School of Business, MUST.

During the final competition, the judgers highly appraised the two teams’ presentation projects and performance, and offered some good suggestion. Prof. Lin Zhijun, Vice President & Dean of School of Business, expressed that MUST has paid a great attention to the entrepreneurship training for students and provided various courses on innovation to encourage students to participate in entrepreneur practice. The university warmly congratulated our students and teachers for their excellent competition achievements.
