Accounting Students from College of Business, MUST won the second place at 2018 Ruisuan Accounting Competition sponsored by Australia CPA

On April 18th, sponsored by Australia CPA Society, the 5th Ruisuan Cup Accounting Competition was held in Building E22, College of Business and Administration, UMAC Campus. The competition was organized by Accounting Society of UMAC, coordinated by Student Union of School of Business of MUST, and sponsored by Australia CPA Society. After initial written exam, five groups were selected from UMAC, MUST and Macao Polytech Institute to present 15 minutes respectively on financial reporting issues at Microsoft Corp from the perspective of financial reporting and governance. After intensive competition, MUST Accounting Team Beyond (Liu Yongxi, Xu Jing and Yang Fei) won the second place for their outstanding and comprehensive analysis. The first place and third place went to UMAC and Macao Polytech Institute respectively.

The competition not only improves students’ comprehensive accounting skills, but also facilitates accounting teaching and learning exchange among higher education institutions in Macao.
